Air Fryer Liner Size Guide

Choosing the right silicone air fryer liner starts with your basket’s shape and measurements. Kitchen Academics offers round, square and rectangular reusable liners, shipped from Ireland.

Measure your air fryer basket first

With your air fryer switched off and cool, measure the usable inside length and width of the basket, including the narrower base if it tapers. For a round basket, measure the internal diameter. Check the available height too. Compare these measurements with the liner dimensions below and follow your air fryer manufacturer’s guidance on accessories and clearance.

A capacity such as 9.5 litres does not confirm a fit: baskets with the same capacity can have different shapes and dimensions.

Liner shape Approximate dimensions View product
Rectangle 19.5 × 12 × 7cm Rectangular air fryer liner
Large rectangle 21 × 16 × 7cm Large rectangular air fryer liner
Square 21 × 21 × 5.5cm Square air fryer liner
Round 21cm diameter × 5.5cm high Round air fryer liner

What do raised ridges do?

Our liners have raised silicone ridges that lift food away from grease collected in the bottom. They are reusable and dishwasher safe, making clean-up easier after cooking.

Can I use a liner in a dual-basket air fryer?

Check each drawer individually against the liner’s measurements. Model names and total appliance capacity alone are not enough to confirm compatibility.

Looking for an air fryer rack?

Our stainless steel air fryer insert shelves are sold as a set of two. The listed dimensions are 13.5cm wide × 20cm deep × 8cm high, with a shelf height of 4.5cm. Check your basket measurements and your appliance instructions before ordering.

How to measure for an air fryer liner

  1. Remove the basket and let it cool completely.
  2. Measure the usable base length and width, rather than the outside of the drawer. For a round basket, measure its inside diameter.
  3. Measure again near the top if the sides taper. Use the smaller usable measurements when comparing sizes.
  4. Check the available height with the cooking plate in its normal position. Allow the clearance your appliance instructions require.
  5. Compare the liner's complete dimensions, including its sides and handles. It should sit comfortably without being squeezed against the basket walls.

Kitchen Academics liner measurements are approximate. If your basket is close to a listed size, send us your measurements before ordering.

Choosing by basket shape

  • Narrow rectangular basket: compare the 19.5 × 12 × 7cm rectangular liner.
  • Wider rectangular basket: compare the 21 × 16 × 7cm large rectangular liner.
  • Square basket: compare the 21 × 21 × 5.5cm square liner.
  • Round basket: compare the 21cm diameter × 5.5cm round liner.

These are size comparisons, not guarantees of fit. Check the usable basket space and your appliance instructions.

Two drawers, two measurements

Measure each usable cooking space separately. A shared drawer with a divider can have different dimensions with the divider fitted or removed. Two liners should each fit their intended space; do not assume a large liner will cover the whole drawer.

Liner size questions

Can I squeeze a larger liner into a smaller basket?

Choose a liner that fits comfortably. Folding or squeezing the sides changes the usable space and can interfere with the clearance required by your appliance.

Does a liner replace the cooking plate?

Follow your appliance instructions for the cooking plate and accessories. The liner does not automatically replace a cooking plate.

Will a shelf fit inside a liner?

Check both products' measurements separately. A liner and shelf fitting the basket does not establish that the shelf fits inside the liner or that both can be used together.
